Step 1: Register incoming carrier
The first phase is establishing the signaling relationship between your carrier and Vobiz.- Navigate to the Carriers page under the BYOC section in your dashboard.
- Click on the + Add Incoming Carrier button.
- Name your carrier: Use a descriptive name (e.g., “Primary_GTT_Inbound”).
- Add Initial IPs: Enter the signaling IP addresses of your carrier.
- Optional: You can specify target ports for each IP if they differ from the standard 5060.
Add incoming carrier form
The Add Incoming Carrier form requires the following fields:| Field | Description |

| Name | Carrier Name (e.g., “Primary_GTT_Inbound”) |
| Initial IPs | The signaling IP addresses of your carrier (e.g., 203.0.113.1) |
| Port | Optional port for each IP (defaults to 5060) |
Step 2: Add numbers & configure routing
Once your carrier is established, you can import specific numbers and decide how calls to those numbers are handled.Number inventory
- Go to the Numbers section.
- Click the Add button.
- Choose a friendly Alias for the numbers.
- Paste the Numbers from your carrier.
- Select the Number Type (Local/Tollfree).
Logic & Routing
- Select the Carrier you added in Step 1.
- Select the appropriate Region.
- Routing Configuration (Optional):
- Route to Inbound Trunk
- Route to Voice Application
- Click Add Number to finalize.
